Sibongile is a leadership coach, strategy consultant, and facilitator with close to two decades of experience across South Africa's non-profit, education, and philanthropic sectors. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of Zidale Africa, she brings together a rare combination of lived executive leadership, coaching expertise and deep sector knowledge, helping purpose-driven leaders and organisations navigate complexity, build capacity and lead with clarity.
A former Executive Director, Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer, Sibongile has served in senior leadership roles across some of South Africa's most respected organisations, including The Learning Trust, DataDrive2030 and BRIDGE. These experiences give her a 360-degree view of the non-profit and donor landscape, and an intimate understanding of the challenges faced by those who lead within it.
Her consulting practice focuses on strategy development and facilitation, organisational design, and leadership development, working with non-profits, philanthropic foundations, sector associations, and multi-stakeholder collaborations.
As a Leadership Coach, Sibongile works with senior leaders and executives, both one-on-one and in groups, supporting them to lead beyond authority, build sustainable careers and grow into their fullest potential. She holds a master's degree in Leadership Coaching and is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). She convenes the B-WELL (Black Women in Education Leader Lab), a peer coaching and leadership development cohort for Black women leaders in education, and leads Leadership Forums for NASCEE's member organisations.
Sibongile's approach is characterised by warmth, rigour, and strategic clarity. She creates spaces where difficult conversations can happen constructively, where data and intuition are equally honoured, and where every engagement moves toward concrete, meaningful action.
